What is Dyson

Dyson Network provides an enterprise solution for utilizing blockchains and offers high-speed, stable, scalable and auditable gateways for rapid delivering, receiving and tracking of blockchain messages.

Scalability problem

Using P2P network, blocks and transactions are propagated in an unpredictable manner. This non-optimized system causes an increase in the time to receive blocks and TXs which results in agreement delays and the scalability problem.

Lost transactions

Blockchain nodes receive messages from a few upstream nodes which could be offline at anytime. Although this mechanism maintains decentralization, it sacrifices the stability of the network and causes lost transactions. It limits many applications which need stable connections, such as payment, gaming, trading and more.

Lack of Regulation

Most blockchain transactions are related to payment, lending and other financial activities which need rigorous verification to comply with regulations. However, there are no systematic ways to reliably provide information for this auditing process.

Dyson Network uses state of the art big data and streaming technologies to provide the most efficient message propagation. In addition, optimized caching and synchronized mempools guarantee the stability and consistency of the blockchain database.

The advanced monitoring mechanism measures the peer-to-peer network transaction receiving rate accurately, which leads to early detection of lost transactions due to network reasons. This will increase the stability of blockchain-based applications and enable enterprise adoption.

Wei Wang

Wei was a Principal Scientist working on blockchain technology at AT&T research and a Principal Scientist at Hortonworks research on big data and artificial intelligence. He graduated from Columbia University with a Master's degree in informatics.

Arthur Nie

Arthur got his Master's degree in information security from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He was one of the earliest bitcoin miners, dating back to 2011 during his master's studies. He is an expert in blockchain infrastructure, decentralized consensus algorithm design and high performance systems.

Lei Liu

Lei received his Ph.D from George Mason University. He has more than 10 years of industry experience in network infrastructure and network traffic routing scheduling.

Gang Wang

Gang received his Ph.D from the University of Connecticut and currently works at the University of Delaware as an Assistant Professor. His research focuses on game theory, decision theory and experimental economics.

Ikhlaq Sidhu

Ikhlaq is the Founding Director of the UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. He invented seminal technology used in internet communications today (75 patents). Recognitions include the IEEE Major Innovation Award in 2018 and the Berkeley IEOR Emerging Area Professor Award in 2009.

Shomit Ghose

Shomit is currently a managing director and partner at ONSET Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, and he also invests in and serves on the boards of multiple software start-ups.

Yang Chen

Yang has many years of industry experience as a full stack engineer. He has been working on various backend infrastructure designs of web applications and frontend visualizations.

Hang Xing

Hang started his career in business development and sales operations with an engineering degree from UNSW Australia. At Hanergy, he managed the business development team in North America and boosted sales significantly.
